After all the food...

After all the eating the unhealthy food, my other half has been complaining about skin problem popping up the very next day after eating spree. She had to look all over the cyber world within Malaysia, then only stumbled upon a facial product company that is most suitable with her sensitive skin.

Beauty Pie! That is the solution for her and also what I sometimes call her :) Beauty Pie has been around in the market for a year, but the source of the facial product has been 1999. The product is imported from Switzerland and repackage by Aylamyra Aylamyra which is our distributor.

Anyway, when she discovered Beauty Pie! and so coincidentally located in our back yard state, Penang. So with that, my girl friend saves money on shipping for the products. Though shipping is not that expensive with Beauty Pie! just RM6 for a box of serum to deliver within Peninsular of Malaysia by Post Laju.

So, if anyone looking for a cheaper method to cure skin problem, other branded ones, for example SKII just to name one. I am not saying they are bad. There are success stories of SKII users, but with the prices of their products, let's just say not many can afford it at a monthly basis. So, my girl friend has opt for a cheaper solution but takes longer time to achieve skin beauty, thank you to Beauty Pie!

The title says it all. Food for the God of Cholesterol. All you need if fire, water and the right food. Better remember to drink lots of water after this meal or something to clean out oil from our body :) thank you my baby for cooking this together

Home Recipe

A makan place at Prangin Mall which was nicely renovated. Surprisingly comfortable place to makan even though surrounded by shoppers.

From the look of the size of my Sour Plum Chicken Rice, every fan of fried chicken would be enjoying this meal very much.

The other item, Carbonara Macaroni, ordered by Sayang, doesn't taste like carbonara but some unique taste. It is still acceptable by us. Hopefully this doesn't close down.

Home cook meal

This is steamed fish with Hor fun underneath and seafood taufoo as "garnishing" :p

After you have finished part of the fish, the oil of the fish would probably already sipped in to the Hor fun. That is the queue for you to start eating them. The color of the white Hor fun would have turned a little beige.

seafood platter :: manhattan fish market

i think i can finish this alone. the giganto seafood platter by manhattan fish market at new world park. love the rice, very nice aroma to it and with the fries. any eatery will never go wrong with me if they put tonnes of fries. the fish might have too much of the frying flour. onion rings were so so. if i remember correctly, they were soggy, not crispy anymore. the rice and the fries were the fantastic items there. mmm.... food

beer & stout :: segafredo

beside food, there will be occasionally posts of drinks. and one of my most favorite drinks, beer and stout. these two met at segafredo but their relationship never lasted. stout died first, in a flash, while beer stayed on longer. mmm... beer.

durian :: balik pulau

though this is the king of our local fruits, not many people can stand the smell, even after the durian has left the room. this one we had, on the way to balik pulau, was not that good. the price was of course "good", but the durian was so-so only. i had better ones at pulau tikus market. so, like i say, lapsap food, doesn't mean every post i post is RM200 kobe beef or some under sized meals with drawings of winnie the pooh with its gravy.
